Shuttle service to 1100m (3250ft), at which an
occuring 'passat"fog is typical. After biking through a beautifull laurel
forest we go over to the west side of the Cumbre and start a long downhill to
'Puerto Naos.

Shuttle to Refugio El Pilar at 1450m (4300ft). We
first of all circle the mountain ridge of the cumbre Vieja with its 100
volcanos and then start the descention on a wide track which is at first
covered with pine thorns, then lava dust, finishing in a winding spectacular
drop.

Starting point is San Nicolas at 680 m (2000ft).
The rolling stretch of road is followed by a steep climb to Refugio, which
offers a beautifull view of Aridane valley below and the Cumbrecita. A piece of
flat road leads at a steep descending trail to El Paso and through side streets
to Puerto Naos.

Is the one and only tour in the Caldera de
Taburiente that allows biking. We start in a stream bed at the seat of the
volcano, up through an exerting climb at Los Brecitos, where you can get an
unique view into the caved in crater. We then back track to the valley.
